Since this line has only a single service, running once a week and only during the academic term, it is an interesting and not very frequent change of pace for the driver. Until articulated buses ran on the ordinary lines at weekends, the driver would finish their shift and, in the garages, climb over into a prepared articulated bus, with which they waited for departure. Today this service connects to a shift on line 12. Since it is necessary to wait for the arrival of the express train, the driver can only pray not to have a big delay and thus to get home on time.
Demand for this service is really considerable. It is not unusual for some students to give up and take the tram to Lidové Sady instead. You can see the high demand in the December footage with a Solaris Urbino 18 IV CNG #589, for which my thanks go to my colleague Martin H. You can follow him here.
