Line 59 has a special standing in the transit network and the fare system, it has its own special vehicle, and it is no different among drivers. Only a few drivers who run it regularly know the line. The others, with rare exceptions, never see it, because it is not part of the ordinary shifts. Instead of a bus it is operated essentially by a modified van. This is because of the narrow lanes in the Vratislavice hills and the even narrower underpasses beneath the railway. As one of the few lines, it does not serve the Fügnerova terminal. The route itself, however, offers interesting views of Vratislavice and, in places, over the hill to Vesec. It passes through now denser, now sparser development of mostly new houses and villas that have been built over the past decades and are still being built. Judge for yourself in the following footage, filmed how else but with an SKD Iveco Stratos #384.
